General Engineering Works (now onwards as GEW) has been established in 1980 as engineering workshop with the intention of doing all common/general mechanical job works. Gradually GEW had started providing service to some Industries like Bombay Dyeing, Graffed Industry, Silver Proteins and few more. Apart from regular mechanical jobs, GEW was also started grooving and grinding of crusher rollers.
In 1991, very 1st time GEW got an opportunity to expand their scope of work. GEW was introduced to one of the Salt Industry @ Kutch, Gujarat. This was the turning point which had extended the boundaries of GEW to new business like Salt Refineries. Since 1991, GEW has been working with various Salt Refineries, Flour Mills & Solvent Plants. Now, our products & services are utilized by various industries like Salt Refinery, Solvent Plant, Ceramic Industry and Flour Mills etc.
As any successful person will honestly admit, failure happens, and we’ve all had our fair share of it. But from each failure, we learn two equally valuable lessons. First, that there was at least one reason we failed; and Second, that we can rebound from that failure.
We have delivered our very first Crushing Mill to one of the very reputed Salt Refinery (Not mentioning name here) at Kutch. We assumed that our Crushing Mill was built well and would perform nicely and satisfy our customer. But within a few days, Crushing Mill had started generating problems and our customers did not get desired production from that Crushing Mill in terms of quality & quantity. We tried to fix the issues but we failed and brought that Crushing Mill back to our workshop.
Due to that failure only today we are the leading manufacture of Maintenance Free Crushing Mill. Just install our Crushing Mill, start feeding and get production as desired in both manner i.e. Quality & Quantity.
